The Village of Cumberland is located in the beautiful Comox Valley, easily accessible from anywhere on Vancouver Island and a short trip from the Mainland. You can stay anywhere in the Comox Valley and would typically be within 10-15 minutes of the start line. 

Be sure to allow time to check out some of the shopping in Downtown Courtenay, Comox local beaches and trails. 

Getting Here


Cumberland is just over an hour north of Nanaimo and less than 10 minutes from Downtown Courtenay.


Vancouver Island can be reached via B.C Ferries from Vancouver through Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo and from Tsawwassen to Nanaimo. For ferry information from the mainland to Vancouver Island, please visit BC Ferries.


You can fly from Vancouver via Harbour Air, Pacific Coastal & Central Mountain Air. From other cities in North America you can hop on a Westjet or Air Canada flight to Comox (just 30 minutes from race start). Click here for map from the airport. Car rentals are available at the airport.
