Blast out of No 6 Mine Park, you’ll have a short opportunity to get yourself in the right position before jumping into the single-track trails shortly after reaching the trailhead at the Yellow Gate.

Up Davis Lake Main for about 40 metres, then turn on first RIGHT into Mama Bears Trail of Tears. It’s a crowded start, be careful and have fun!

Take first fork to the RIGHT onto Swamp Trail and drop down to the swamp. Stay RIGHT at the forks and follow the swamp edge.

Turn around (LEFT) when you reach the ‘gravel pit’ and follow the rough gravel road/ATV track UPHILL to the crest where it intersects a gravel road- steep climb- to reach the road then turn LEFT and run up the gravel road about 100m.

Take the next LEFT onto Mama Bears Trail of Tears to complete the loop.

Turn LEFT once you reach the Davis Lake Main returning to the start location. But we’re not there anymore, you need to run straight ahead on the Davis Lake Main passing the yellow gate on your left (don’t turn left here keep going).

Run across Davis Lake Main and over the swamp bridge then behind the townhomes. Next left up the hill on 2nd street, LEFT on Derwent, you can hear the crowd cheering now! Run into No 6 Mine Park to finish!
